The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is, beyond question, the largest and most successful government-private sector partnership to emerge from the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Today, more than 10,000 companies - critical players in the global Supply Chain - have applied for membership, and more than 6,000 have been accepted as certified partners.
TransparentCMS allows you to effectively manage a program as critical as C-TPAT through a host of configurable audit management tools that enable your organization to:
- Adopt and communicate guiding principles for C-TPAT to all partners.
- Collect information about current security protocol followed by Suppliers and overseas Factories.
- Qualify Suppliers and overseas Factories by evaluating their current security protocol against required C-TPAT security criteria.
- Evaluate and qualify other C-TPAT partners such as Consolidators and Brokers who are eligible for C-TPAT certification.
- Collect, evaluate and qualify partners based on WCO accredited Certification Documents that are administered by an approved foreign customs authority.
- Periodically evaluate partners' current state of compliance using automated self assessment tool.
- Use self assessment results to trigger security audits or recommend corrective actions.
- Bring all business partners to implement security criteria and best practices to realize tangible benefits of the C-TPAT program.
- Manage risk by Factory Country of Origin, Port of Origin or any other factor that significantly affects your supply chain security.
